Jun. 16, 2017 TV and movie comparisons:
TV movies: I used to watch more TV movies in my early 20s and during the summer time when I have free time. I rarely watch TV movies, unless it's for a hot actor I really like.
TV movies about a psychopath who gets close to a common person: I have never watched any of these movies, but I see them on my TV listings:
The Boy She Met Online:
The Girl He Met Online: This is on Lifetime:
A man's relationship with a bipolar woman becomes dangerous.
The Wife He Met Online:
A shocking surprise awaits a man who marries a seemingly perfect woman.
The Husband She Met Online:
A woman meets a charming and wealthy man who becomes obsessive and controlling.
May 31, 2018 Bad Match: I was checking out Jack Cutmore -Scott, the star of the TV show Deception.
"An internet-dating playboy's life spirals out of control after meeting a woman online."
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5990066/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2
May 31, 2019 Ma:
"A lonely woman befriends a group of teenagers and decides to let them party at her house. Just when the kids think their luck couldn't get any better, things start happening that make them question the intention of their host."
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7958736/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
The Roommate:
"When college freshman Sara arrives on campus for the first time, she befriends her roommate, Rebecca, unaware that the girl is becoming dangerously obsessed with her."
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1265990/?ref_=nv_sr_6?ref_=nv_sr_6
The Stepfather:
Jul. 31, 2017 Feeding kids medication to get good grades:
I mentioned before about the Blindspot ep "Senile Lines" where the foster mom was feeding kids medication to test on them.
My old script: I have that too in my script I wrote as a teen. A school feeds students meds to get good grades to get money for their school. Or you can just give the students easy tests.
I want to add that standardized tests would be given to all the schools like provincial final exams. So now you can't give the students easy tests.
Aug. 17, 2017 The Simpsons: There was an ep called "Lisa gets an A" where Lisa cheated on a test and got a good mark. The school then got a grant.
Oct. 16, 2017 "Dead man switch": When a character (usually a bad guy) dies, it turns on this switch where the bad guy's plan is still implemented.
I was watching the TV show Zoo. A bad guy dies and this switch comes on and the plan is still implemented.
I was watching the TV show Arrow season 7 premiere. It then showed the season 6 finale about the bad guy who dies and the plan is implemented.
Dec. 20, 2017 Intersecting storylines in 1 episode:
This is Us: It was in 3 eps titled "Number One", "Number Two", and "Number Three" in season 2.
Riverdale: It was on the episode "Chapter 20: Tales from the Dark Side" where 3 storylines intersected.
Criminal Minds: It was done on the episode "False Flag."
Coincidentally all 3 of these shows episodes aired this fall.
People being trapped in a town: I have mentioned this before like Under the Dome, Wayward Pines, Between and Containment.
On the TV show Channel Zero, it's an anthology horror show. In the second season it's called Channel Zero: No End House. The characters enter a haunted house and it turns into a town. They can't escape it.
Jan. 22, 2018 A waiter gives the wrong meal or note to the customer, and there are disastrous results:
Castle: I had to look it up. It's where Ioan Gruffudd (TV show Forever) was on Castle ep "The Squab and the Quail." The waiter gives the wrong meal to the customer and the customer dies. It turns out Gruffudd's character was the intended target.
Desperate Housewives: Susan writes a note "She thinks you're going to propose to her" and wants the note to be given to her ex-husband Karl who is with his date Edie.
Susan: Give this note the man with the hot blonde woman.
The waiter gives the note to the table next to them.
Man reads the note and yells at his date:
Man: I'm not going to leave my wife for you! I'm just here for the sex.
Man leaves.
Edie is wrecking her cupcake while she looks for the ring.
May 16, 2018 A character becomes extremely smart and doesn't want to go back to normal:
Short story: "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes. I read that short story for gr. 9 English class.
TV shows: It was done on the sci-fi shows:
Invisible Man:
Invisible Man:
"A thief and conman is given the means to become invisible, and ends up working for a government agency."
The episode had the handler Hobbes gets this chemical in his system and he becomes very smart.
Flowers for Hobbes
Flowers for Hobbes
A cure must be found for a "retro-virus" that infects Hobbes which makes him super intelligent. Unfortunately, it had also drove previous "test subjects" to all commit suicide.
Century City:
In the near future, a law firm handles difficult cases that reflect the time.
Here's the ep:
A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Lose
The firm deals with a case where a mentally dysfunctional man is cured by a process that may ultimately kill him. At the same time they deal with a case that may redefine what a family actually is.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377153/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_43
Angel: In season 5 Gunn becomes a lawyer by being magically injected with law into his brain. Then it wasn't permanent. In the episode "Smile Time", Gunn was talking to a doctor about it and mentions "Flowers for Algernon."
Limitless:
Angel: In season 5 Gunn becomes a lawyer by being magically injected with law into his brain. Then it wasn't permanent. In the episode "Smile Time", Gunn was talking to a doctor about it and mentions "Flowers for Algernon."
Limitless:
With the help of a mysterious pill that enables the user to access one hundred percent of his brain abilities, a struggling writer becomes a financial wizard, but it also puts him in a new world with lots of dangers.

May 20, 2018 Blind assassins:
Into the Badlands: It was done on the episode "Blind Cannibal Assassins" in the recent season 3. It was a good ep where Sunny and Baije have to fight off a whole team of them.
Angel: It was done on Angel 1st season ep called "Blind Date." Angel fights a blind woman.
"A renegade attorney from Wolfram and Hart joins forces with Angel to stop a blind assassin from killing three children who threaten the firm."
Jul. 10, 2018 Medical or social experiments done on unwilling kids or teens:
It's like the above with the Blindspot ep "Senile Lines."
It was done recently on Instinct ep "Blast from the Past":
"An unethical psychological experiment conducted on unwilling teens with the government. The doctor tested stress reactions when told their partner supposedly dissed their dreams."
This was testing their stress reactions.
People are kidnapped and forced to fight to the death for entertainment:
I have written this before:
Supernatural people are kidnapped and forced to fight to the death for entertainment:
1. Angel- Angel was kidnapped and forced to fight.
2. Being Human (US version)- the werewolf Josh was forced to fight another werewolf.
3. Grimm- I saw a few episodes.
Quantico: I saw the season 3 ep "Heaven's Fall." This is about normal people being forced to fight.
Jul. 29, 2018 The Art of War book:
The Simpsons: Bart uses the book and then later Homer does.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_IcJpoa4U4&t=11s
Quantico: It was done on season 3 ep "The Art of War."
The Walking Dead: I watched this show around season 3 when I got the channel AMC. AMC is often playing marathons of this show so I caught up on the show. I watched it up till season 7 episode "Hearts Still Beating." Here is the bookmark to the show if I want to get back to it.
I quit the show because it's too much drama, conflict, and tension. It's intense, depressing, and stressful. The characters are living in a post- apocalyptic world and hard to trust people.
I like law enforcement shows where they solve conflicts:
- solve a murder
-stop a bombing
You may even laugh at this part, but this show is coming from a place of lack and not of abundance. I have been listening to these telesummits on the internet about the law of attraction when I am looking for a job.
There is good acting and writing. I recommend you watch the pilot to see if you would like the show.
DVR complaints: I have to write about this so I can get over it and move on.
My sister told me I had to delete my shows by this day. I thought she was going to delete it. Then my dad tells me that the Telus guy was going to come and replace my DVR and delete all the recordings. I talked to the Telus guy and he confirmed it.
Once upon a Time: I'm kind of annoyed. I didn't watch my Once Upon a Time season 6 episodes. I only watched like 3 episodes. Well at least I know where I can bookmark that show. I will watch season 7.
Emerald City: I watched like 4 episodes. This show got cancelled. I did see on the TV listings that the reruns are on.
Dec. 24, 2019 I want to be a Youtube influencer:
Tracy's hip-hop dancing videos: On Dec. 7, 2019, I put up 2 videos of me dancing on Facebook. It could be called "beta testing" and it took a few hours because I was struggling to remember my passwords to my account and had to find it when I wrote it down.
There were positive reactions from my friends and co-workers.
On Dec. 22, 2019, I was working at my 1st restaurant job and one of my bosses Ai told me about being an influencer and making videos on YouTube and making money. They will put ads before your video.
If you post your videos on Facebook, Facebook is not going to pay you even if your video gets lots of views, shares, and likes.

On Dec. 24, 2019, I put 7 more videos of me dancing on YouTube. It was 1 hr of my friend Cham filming me. I then checked it on my YouTube/ Google account.
I then see this:

My week:
Dec. 22, 2019 "'Christmas miracle': Zimbabwe student's lost passport, visas found":
Leonard Mawora made a public plea for help to find his passport after he accidentally left it in a bag he returned to a store in St. John's. On Saturday night, that help arrived.
After realizing where he'd lost it, the Memorial University business student from Zimbabwe found out from Winners that someone else had bought the bag he'd returned. He made a public plea for help, asking people to check bags recently purchased from the Stavanger Drive store.
That plea was answered late Saturday night. April Day of St. John's was wrapping Christmas gifts when she found Mawora's passport in a bag she'd bought for her mother. Day posted her discovery on Facebook.
"Omg, I started to cry and was shaking trying to find Leonard's number to tell him the good news! A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!" she wrote.
Mawora told CBC News that just before he got the good news, he'd bought some groceries, having accepted the fact that, without his passport, he wouldn't be going home for Christmas.
"As soon as I sit down, then I got a call from her, saying, like, 'I have your passport,'" he told CBC News. "I just couldn't believe it at first. It took me some time.… At least now I can go see my family. I'm so happy."
There was more good news for Mawora: Day has invited him for a Christmas dinner — and has offered to pay for his ticket home.
"I'm just very happy and glad that I can actually help Leonard to go home to his family," she said.
Mawora and Day met Sunday at Day's home, where she gave him back the passport he'd feared was lost forever.
"I never thought I would even see these documents ever again," he said, before the two hugged.
While Day says she regrets not looking in the bag sooner — she says she'd heard about Mawora's plight but didn't know the details of the bag — Mawora said he's just grateful she found it. With the bag intended as a Christmas gift, it could have been even later the passport was found.
"If it was somebody else, maybe they wouldn't have given it to me," he said. "Or maybe if it was someone else, maybe they would have thought, 'OK, I'm going to open this bag maybe in January.'"
Mawora said he was touched by the outpouring of support he received after asking for help.
"You have people from Winnipeg, people who don't even know you. Like, they were calling to support me, even when I thought of giving up," he said. "They're telling me, 'Just keep on fighting, things will look up.'"

My opinion: Aww...
Lesson: Also when you return something to a store, make sure your personal items are not in it.
Dec. 24, 2019 Restaurant chains closing down: I was a my 1st restaurant job meeting and it mentioned that 6 Starbucks has closed in Edmonton. I noticed the one on 124 St. and one on Jasper Ave closed down. Throw in the one in the Chapters on Whyte Ave too.

Dec. 25, 2019 Veteran wakes up from coma before Christmas:
In the days after 39-year-old Tony Belt — a father of three and Purple Heart recipient who served overseas in the Army Infantry — fell 18 feet from a scissor lift at work on Sept. 26, doctors gave his family “pretty much no hope,” his wife, Kyli Belt, tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
“They brought in the organ donation team, the palliative care team,” she recalls. “They made me explain to my kids that daddy was going to heaven.”
Kyli, from Missouri City, Iowa, says she was encouraged to set a DNR [do not resuscitate] order as her husband lay in a coma, hooked up to a ventilator.
But Kyli noticed that Tony was initiating his own breaths — and last week, he had a major breakthrough. With just days to go before Christmas, Tony started opening his eyes and is now communicating with his loved ones via hand gestures and, as of this Tuesday, mumbled words. It’s a development his son Eli predicted.
“Since the beginning, he’s the only one who never gave up hope,” Kyli says of the boy. “He told me that daddy was going to be awake and talking on Christmas Eve — and tomorrow’s Christmas Eve, and here he is today, turning his voice back on and saying yes and no.
A GoFundMe has also been set up for the Belts, who are living off of Tony’s workman’s compensation, a partial payment which Kyli says barely covers their daycare expenses for the boys who must be looked after while their father undergoes his therapy. Kyli lost her own job at a data processing center shortly after her husband’s fall. Having returned from maternity leave just three weeks before the accident, she was told she wouldn’t be able to take the necessary time off to care for him. So far, more than $15,000 has been raised.
Dec. 26, 2019 "Quick-thinking police sergeant saves choking toddler on Christmas Eve:
Seconds later, a police sergeant ran out from behind the counter, took the child from the man, and knelt down slightly as he turned the child onto its back. He then used the heel of his hand to deliver a series of quick blows to the toddler's back, below the shoulder blades.
After five or six blows the child relaxed, and seconds later the video showed what appeared to be the dislodged object on the floor below.
By now several other officers appeared in the lobby, and the sergeant handed the child back to the couple. Another officer gave tissues to the woman, who appeared to have been crying.
The entire rescue -- from the time the couple entered the station to the time the sergeant dislodged the object -- took barely 30 seconds.
Staples: I was at home from Dec. 23-25. Today I went and recycled pens and batteries at Staples.
City Centre: I then went shopping here. The GNC vitamin store closed down. I went to the Curated Shop, Shoppers Drug Mart, Suzy Shier, Cleo's, Purdy's chocolates. It wasn't too busy. The Purdy's chocolates boxes are at least $22. My boss at my 2nd restaurant job bought them for us, but I think she got a discount because she bought a from this special order.
I went to Winners to see if they sold cookies and chocolates. Their holiday cookies and chocolates and decorations are all 50% off. I was tempted to buy it, but I didn't.
I bumped into S there, and she was with her friend Mike and his parents.
S: Why aren't you at work?
Tracy: The 2nd restaurant job is closed.
S: Then why aren't you at the 1st restaurant job?
Tracy: I told them I could work on this day, but they didn't schedule me.
Good deed: A guy came up to me asking for money because he didn't eat all day and wanted a cheese burger. I gave him $3. It's pretty rare that I give money.
Dec. 27, 2019 "Mcdonald's employees assist woman who mouths 'help me' in the drive thru":

Dec. 27, 2019 "Mcdonald's employees assist woman who mouths 'help me' in the drive thru":
When a woman walked up to the counter of a McDonald's in Lodi, California, the employees likely expected her to order a Big Mac or large fries. Instead, she begged them to help her.
The woman told an employee to call 911, gave them her license plate number and asked them to hide her, San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
A police investigation would later reveal that she was traveling with a man who had a history of abusing her. That day, he had threatened her with a firearm and demanded that she drive him to see his family.
After using the McDonald's restroom, the woman tried to approach the counter again to make an order, police said. But the man she was traveling with stopped her and demanded that she use the drive-thru.
Even in the drive-thru, the woman continued to send distressed messages to employees, mouthing "help me" through the window to a restaurant worker, police said.
As she was in the drive-thru, police arrived and employees quickly pointed them to the woman in her car with the man in the passenger seat.
Police found a stolen firearm in the trunk of the vehicle and arrested the man.
He faces four felony charges, including criminal threats, stolen property and possession of a firearm as prohibited person. His bail is set at $3
The Golden State Restaurant Group, which owns the McDonald's location she went to, has certified each of its restaurants as a "Safe Place."
The Safe Place program is a national youth and prevention program for "young people in need of immediate help and safety," says the restaurant group's website.
The program creates a network of locations, including schools, fire stations, libraries and businesses, that display distinctive yellow and black safe place signs. Young people can go to locations with these signs in times of crisis to find a secure place to stay and be connected with a youth service agency or shelter, the program website says.
There are more than 20,000 Safe Place sites across the US.
